Cape Town from the city bowl, Lion's Head and Table Mountain framing the valley

From the slopes of Table Mountain to the cellars of Stellenbosch.

Cape Town is, quite simply, one of the most beautiful cities on earth — a place where mountain, ocean, vineyard and sky converge in a single, sweeping panorama. This is a journey designed to capture all of it: four nights perched above the Atlantic at Bantry Bay's most exclusive address, four nights amongst the Cape's finest vineyards, three rounds at courses bearing the imprimaturs of Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Peter Matkovich.

You'll dine at restaurants that perennially top the World's 50 Best lists. You'll taste wines that the world is only just discovering. You'll round Cape Point where two oceans meet, and you'll stand at the eighth tee at Pearl Valley — the Cape's finest Nicklaus Signature — with the Drakenstein Mountains rising before you. Every transfer is private, every reservation curated, every detail considered.

  • Four nights at Ellerman House — Forbes 5-star, Relais & Châteaux, Bantry Bay
  • Four nights at Delaire Graff Lodges & Spa — MICHELIN Two Keys, Helshoogte Pass
  • Three rounds: Pearl Valley · Steenberg · Erinvale
  • Private Cape Peninsula tour — Cape Point, Boulders, Chapman's Peak
  • Curated full-day Stellenbosch & Franschhoek wine experience
  • Helicopter scenic flight over the Cape
  • Tasting menus at La Colombe, Hōseki & The Restaurant at Ellerman House

Two distinct sides of the Cape. One singular journey.

The first half of this trip is Cape Town at its most refined — Atlantic vistas, Table Mountain at your back, the buzz of a city that punches well above its weight in art, food and wine. The second half is the Cape Winelands — three centuries of viticulture, Cape Dutch gables, mountain valleys cooled by the sea, and golf laid out by the men who shaped the modern game.

Nine Days in the Cape

A measured, indulgent rhythm — golf and wine and the open ocean — sequenced for jet lag, weather windows, and the unhurried pace of a true holiday.

Day01

Cape Town · Bantry Bay

Arrival · Ellerman House

Touch down at Cape Town International, where your Mosaico chauffeur waits with a chilled bottle of Graham Beck for the 25-minute transfer along the Atlantic Seaboard. Check in at Ellerman House — a privately-owned Edwardian mansion of just 13 rooms perched above Bantry Bay, with panoramic views over the Atlantic to Robben Island. Settle in, then drift down to the veranda for sundowners as the sun melts into the ocean. A relaxed first dinner at the hotel's Restaurant — Cape Malay-influenced cuisine, paired from a 10,000-bottle wine cellar.

Day02

Cape Town · The Mother City

Table Mountain · V&A Waterfront · La Colombe

An early ride up the rotating Aerial Cableway to the summit of Table Mountain — book ended for first cars to beat the queues, with 360-degree views from Robben Island to Cape Point. Down via the Cableway, then a private guided tour of the Zeitz MOCAA — Africa's leading contemporary art museum, set inside the converted grain silo at the V&A Waterfront. Lunch is dealer's choice at the Waterfront. The afternoon is yours: spa at Ellerman House, the Camps Bay beachfront, or simply the heated lap pool. Dinner is at La Colombe in Constantia — a perennial fixture on the World's 50 Best list, set in the Silvermine Forest.

Day03

Constantia · Round 01

Steenberg Golf Club · Bistro 1682 Tasting

A short drive over Wynberg Hill to Steenberg, set within a 17th-century wine farm in the Constantia Valley. Peter Matkovich's mid-1990s design winds through pine forest and vineyards with Table Mountain as a constant backdrop. Bent grass greens — widely regarded as the finest in the Western Cape — are the headline. The signature 7th is a peninsula par-3 set into water with Devil's Peak behind; the 14th par-3 features the largest green in Africa at 76 metres long. Post-round, walk across to Bistro 1682 at the Steenberg Winery for a curated tasting of the estate's celebrated Sauvignon Blanc and the Magna Carta flagship. Evening at leisure.

Round 01SteenbergPeter Matkovich · Constantia
Day04

Cape Peninsula

Cape Point · Boulders Beach · Chapman's Peak

A full-day private tour of the most dramatic stretch of coastline in Africa. South down the Atlantic Seaboard via Hout Bay, then onto the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive — nine kilometres of cliff-hugging tarmac carved into vertical sandstone. On to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the funicular up to the old Cape Point lighthouse, where two mighty oceans meet. Lunch at Two Oceans Restaurant overlooking False Bay. Returning northward: a stop at Boulders Beach, home to a colony of African penguins, then the harbour at Kalk Bay. Sundowners at the Twelve Apostles Hotel terrace as the sun sets over the Atlantic.

Day05

Helshoogte Pass · Cape Winelands

Helicopter to Stellenbosch · Delaire Graff

A morning helicopter scenic flight from the V&A Waterfront — over Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, Camps Bay and Hout Bay — before a private chauffeur transfer eastward to the Cape Winelands (luggage forwarded ahead). Check in at Delaire Graff Lodges & Spa, perched atop the Helshoogte Pass between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek with sweeping views down to Table Mountain on a clear day. Each Lodge is its own pavilion with private heated pool, butler's kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Welcome lunch at Indochine Restaurant. Afternoon at the Delaire Graff Spa. Dinner at Hōseki — contemporary Japanese, MICHELIN-recommended.

Day06

Franschhoek · Round 02

Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature

Twenty minutes through the vineyards to Pearl Valley — the Cape's finest Jack Nicklaus Signature course, ranked SA's #3-#6 (and consistently the #1 course in the Western Cape by SA Top 100 reviewers). Inaugurated in 2003 by Nicklaus and Gary Player themselves, it sits within the 500-acre Val de Vie estate, framed by the Drakenstein and Simonsberg Mountains. Brilliant white river-sand bunkers contrast against emerald fairways. Eight par-3 and par-5 holes play in different directions, ensuring no two holes face the wind alike. Hosted three consecutive South African Opens from 2007. Lunch at the clubhouse. The afternoon is yours: spa, vineyard walk, or simply the lodge pool. Dinner at the Delaire Graff Restaurant — bistro fare with views down the Banghoek Valley.

Day07

Stellenbosch & Franschhoek

Curated Wine Experience · La Petite Colombe

A full day in the company of a private wine specialist. Begin at Kanonkop in Simonsberg — South Africa's most decorated Pinotage producer, a Cape "First Growth" by any global measure. On to Babylonstoren — the working farm-and-garden estate at the foot of the Simonsberg, with a tour of the eight-acre formal garden before a tasting flight in the cellar. Lunch at La Petite Colombe in Franschhoek (sister restaurant to La Colombe; Top 50 in the World). Afternoon at Le Lude — the Cape's specialist Méthode Cap Classique house, for a tutored sparkling wine masterclass. Return to Delaire Graff for a final tasting in the David Collins Studio-designed Wine Lounge.

Day08

Somerset West · Round 03

Erinvale Gary Player Championship · Farewell Dinner

The grand finale. Forty minutes south to Somerset West for Erinvale — the only Gary Player design near Cape Town, set on the slopes of the Helderberg with sweeping views over False Bay. Erinvale hosted the 1996 World Cup of Golf (won famously by South Africans Ernie Els and Wayne Westner) and back-to-back SA Opens in 2003 and 2004 (both lifted by 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman, who grew up in Somerset West). The front nine plays flat with water in play; the back nine climbs into the upper slopes for elevation, mountain views, and the memorable downhill par-5 13th overlooking False Bay. Light lunch at the clubhouse, then the drive back to Stellenbosch. The Farewell Dinner is at Hōseki — the closing course of an extraordinary journey.

Day09

Cape Town International · Departure

Morning at Leisure · Private Transfer

A final, unhurried Winelands morning — coffee at the Lodge terrace, a stroll through Laurence Graff's sculpture garden of 400+ pieces, perhaps a final tasting in the Wine Lounge. Your Mosaico chauffeur arrives at your chosen hour for the 45-minute private transfer back to Cape Town International. You leave having played three of the Cape's most celebrated courses, tasted some of the world's most singular wines, dined at restaurants that anchor this region's place on the global culinary map, and spent eight nights in two of South Africa's most decorated hotels.
