The capital of seven hills,
and golf at the edge
of Europe
Lisbon is the only European capital with golf of this quality on its doorstep. Within an hour of the Four Seasons Ritz lie three of Portugal's most celebrated courses — Oitavos Dunes on the western tip of Continental Europe, Penha Longa Atlântico in the foothills of Sintra, and West Cliffs on the dramatic Silver Coast — each with its own signature character.
Off the course, this is one of Europe's great walking cities. Alfama's tiled lanes and miradouros, the imperial sweep of Belém, the Manueline glory of Jerónimos and the Tower, the World-Heritage palaces of Sintra, and an evening of fado in a candlelit Bairro Alto cellar. Six nights at the Four Seasons Ritz — Portugal's only Forbes Five-Star hotel for 2026 — anchor the entire journey.
- Three signature rounds — Oitavos Dunes, Penha Longa, West Cliffs
- Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon — Portugal's only Forbes Five-Star
- Private guided walking tour of Alfama & Baixa with Tram 28
- Full-day private Sintra excursion with Pena Palace & Quinta da Regaleira
- Belém afternoon — Tower, Jerónimos, Pastéis
- Tile-painting masterclass & intimate fado dinner
Three coasts,
three signatures
Lisbon's coastal corridor has, in the 2026 rankings, become Portugal's championship leader. Within an hour of the city sit three radically different courses: the Audubon-certified links at Oitavos Dunes (#6 Portugal), Robert Trent Jones Jr's parkland masterpiece at Penha Longa (#10 Lisbon & Centre), and Cynthia Dye's sensational clifftop links at West Cliffs (#4 Portugal). Three rounds, three distinct characters, one luxurious city base.
